Kimberly you write beautifully! It almost sounds like you have your culminating assignment for this class already worked out. I was thinking today about how great it would be to actually teach this way and have the support of the administration, parents and children. I wonder where I would have to move to see it become a reality. I don’t see it happening in this country for a while. Interestingly, while I was searching for information, I came across several websites in Canada where they had years of integrated lessons listed. You know my brother is a landed immigrant there. Perhaps I’ll spend my old age teaching the children on a small island in the Georgia Straight off of Vancouver Island and I can create theme-based units until I drop.
